This dense and bushy plant is free flowering, setting tubular, two-toned pink blooms that attract pollinators to the garden.
An excellent landscape plant, Weigela Sonic Bloom has a rapid growth rate and a freely branching, upright, rounded, and mounded habit. It is an excellent specimen in garden or container but is shown to best effect when grouped or massed and is especially nice in the front of beds and borders.
Cold hardy to Zone 4 and easy to grow, weigela grows best in sunny to partly shady locations with moderately fertile, moist, well-draining soil but tolerates clay soil. Deer resistant.
