Veronica Vernique® Raspberry

A Bloomin' Easy® variety, Veronica Vernique® Raspberry is an herbaceous perennial offering late spring through summer interest. Blooming continuously and abundantly throughout summer, the plant sets tall, full flower spikes dense with bright raspberry-pink blossoms. Nectar-rich, the flowers are irresistible to butterflies and hummingbirds; extremely showy, they are superb cut flowers for summer bouquets.

A Veronica longifolia, commonly called speedwell, Vernique Raspberry has a compact, upright, mounding habit and a moderate growth rate. Shown to best effect massed or grouped, Veronica Vernique Raspberry is a great garden or container plant and makes great edging.

Cold hardy, low maintenance, and easy to grow, speedwell prefers a sunny to partially sunny location with average, evenly moist, well-draining soil and thrives in rich loams. It tolerates light shade and is mildew, deer, and rabbit resistant. Deadheading faded flowers promotes additional blooms. Fertilize yearly in spring.
