Like the essence of moonlight, these silvery blooms with deep purple centers and wispy purple veining create a peaceful, elegant atmosphere in any setting. And "any setting" is just where you can grow themfrom containers to bedding to trellises to edging, Tidal Wave Silver fits them all. Amazingly versatile, it is called a "hedgiflora"but we just call it "wonderful".
The blooms range from 2 to 2½ inches across, and some are deeply blushed with purple while others are nearly pure white. The silver tone is utterly unique, complementing other spreading petunias very well and making a nice companion both to light- and dark-toned designs. These blooms aren't shrinking violets, eitherthey stand up to summer storms beautifully, bouncing back from rain and wind without turning a petal. The plant itself is as much of a star as its flowers, offering an adaptable habit completely unlike other Petunias'.
