Soft Whisper Hybrid Tea Rose

Fantastically romantic and heavenly scented, Soft Whisper sets 4- to 5-inch blooms with uniquely pointed petals of light cream edged in coral pink that swirl open from attractive pointed, ovoid buds. They start arriving in early summer and continue right through fall. And as beautiful as these flowers are, they're just as fragrant, enticing you with a distinctive sweet hyacinth fragrance—one bloom is enough to perfume an entire room.

Soft Whisper is a great choice for a your favorite sunny spots, and with its fantastically fragrant blooms arising on 14- to 18-inch stems, it's an ideal choice for your cut flower garden. The shrub cloaks itself in lovely dark green foliage and grows to a very manageable 4 feet high and wide, making it good for large patio containers as well.

Soft Whisper performs best in medium-moisture, slightly acidic, well-drained loam in full sun. Water deeply and regularly, preferably in the morning, and avoid overhead watering. Make sure the plant has good air circulation, as this promotes vigorous and healthy growth and helps prevent disease. A layer of mulch during the summer months helps to retain moisture, keep roots cool, and discourage the growth of weeds.

NOTE: Tree and patio roses are hardy to Zone 6 regardless of the rose variety grafted to their tops.
