Annuals may come and go, but helichrysum sees you through from spring till the end of fall.
Just 6 to 8 inches tall (it sort of bubbles up, with a many-stemmed look), helichrysum spreads 18 to 24 inches wide. You don't have to constantly pinch the growing plants to get them to branch out, eitherthey are naturally multistemmed and very lush. You can achieve a greener look for the foliage in part shade (or growing indoors), but for the full silver, give this plant plenty of sun.
